Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
How does route planning work in Locus Map 4 Outdoor Navigation?

Which offline maps can you download?
You can download detailed global maps for offline access, including in remote areas without an internet connection. Hiking, cycling, and winter themes are available for specialised activities. The app includes three free downloads to start exploring.
Do the Locus Map 4.34 release notes apply to this build?
The listed build version is 4.33.0, while the release notes are headed Locus Map 4.34. Confirm the version before updating because compatibility depends on the build publisher.
What Android version does Locus Map 4 Outdoor Navigation require?

Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
