TIDAL Music is a streaming service focused on high-fidelity audio and artist-centric content. It targets audiophiles and users who prioritize sound quality over catalog breadth. The app provides access to lossless FLAC and MQA tracks, exclusive releases, and curated editorial content. The standard free tier is heavily restricted, offering only standard quality audio with frequent advertisements.
What This Mod Unlocks
- Premium subscription status is permanently enabled, bypassing server checks.
- HiFi and Master audio quality settings are unlocked for all tracks.
- Offline download functionality is fully accessible without a paid plan.
- All advertisements, including audio and banner ads, are removed from the interface.
- Skip and replay limits are disabled.
- Exclusive content and early releases are available without restriction.
The mod operates by patching the client-side subscription validation routine. It does not interact with TIDAL's billing servers. The app will display the Premium/HiFi badge and all associated features upon launch.
Activation Note
No activation is required. The modded TIDAL Music APK loads with premium features already active. Users must log in with their existing free account or create a new one. The account overview screen will incorrectly show a free tier status, but all premium playback and download functions will work.
Android 10 or higher is required. The installation requires approximately 120 MB of storage. Root access is not necessary.
Install Steps
- Uninstall the official TIDAL Music app if present.
- Download the mod APK file.
- Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in Android settings.
- Open the downloaded file and proceed with installation.
- Launch TIDAL Music and log in.
Known Edge Cases
Downloaded offline tracks may become unplayable if the app's cache is cleared. The account page will not reflect the modded status, showing expiration dates for non-existent subscriptions. Using the mod in conjunction with official apps on other devices may cause sync conflicts for offline content. There is a persistent but low risk of account flagging for abnormal activity, primarily from excessive downloading.
